I would love to know what folks do to get their bodies ready to ride the next day. Sore legs and backs, saddle discomfort, and just general body inflammation.
As a rigid-singlespeed MTB rider I would like to know what the SS riders used for suspension (if any), tire sizes utilized, and which size chainrings and cogs they used. Thanks
Here are question I would like to hear the answer to and why or if they would have chosen differently:
tire size and tread pattern
flat vs drop bar
gear you couldn’t have done without and
piece of gear you wish you would have left at home

1) What was the conditioning training program specific to the RAT?
2) What specific training/prep went into route navigation?. I've heard some RAT Riders virtually memorize the turns, landmarks, and resupply stops.
3) What was the #1 thing you'd do different next time you did the RAT?
4) How did you prevent saddle sores before you start? What is your technique of dealing with saddle sores on RAT?
When things start to go wrong, what do you use to get you moving in the right direction?
