Greetings Indoor Riding Enthusiasts! We just wanted to drop a quick FYI about our plans to start doing some Spinistry group training rides on Zwift. We hope to kick those off next week but it will take us a bit to get everything dialed in. If you are interested in participating please follow Kevin on Zwift, just look for The Spinistry when searching for Zwifters. We will begin sending out invites to some of our training rides very soon. We will be focusing on primarily low intensity rides of 60 minutes or less but the plan is to allow riders at all levels to be able to join in. Here's an overview of the type of workout we will be doing regularly. It is definitely a good fit for anyone trying to build their endurance or those who need to get back in riding shape: https://youtu.be/GfQfU2RexQo The Spinistry Crew

Starting in December we will introduce a new benefit for Club Spinistry members. Members will be able to borrow bikepacking gear and satellite trackers at no cost! We will require a deposit for security reasons and these are only meant for short term/single trip usage. We are working out the logistics and details and will share more info soon. Stay tuned!

Club Spinistry members group ride that does a little bit of everything...every bike will be the wrong bike at times. Staging from the Greenbelt park on Highway 428 it will include a mix of mostly Greeenbelt trail, some high speed shoulder, country backroads and we will check out the new Denton MTB trail which should be drop bar friendly. Please note that the Greenbelt is a Texas State Parks property. You will need to pay an entry fee or have a Parks Pass. More details soon. If you are in the market for a two way satellite communicator I suggest the Garmin Inreach (Mini) over the SpotX based on first hand experience with both. I had given up on my SpotX and went back to the Spot Gen3 for tracking and basic one way communication (checkin and SOS). My SpotX just was not reliable for 2 way communication. A recent issue in Big Bend necessitated the use of a satellite communicator. While an SOS request would have been justified, it made more sense to relay information to the park for needed assistance. I will be switching over to Garmin Inreach when my Spot subscrition expires in December. Your mileage may vary.
